2025 CLC Sportsfest FAQs

As we come together for Sportsfest 2025, it's more than just a showcase of strength, speed, and talent — it's a celebration of family. We’re here to support one another, to recognize the dedication and hard work of every participant, to cheer as one united community, and to create lasting memories built on love, unity, and meaningful connection.

What’s the location & address? 

Canada Games Park (Walker Sports and Abilities Centre)

Is there free parking? 

Parking is free for facility users in the Canada Games Park lot.

What time does the program start?  

The program starts at 9:00 AM. We recommend arriving by 8:30 AM to be settled before the start of the program. 

 

What if I need a ride? 

It is encouraged to carpool with one another. However, everyone is responsible for coordinating their own ride to the venue. We will meet directly at Canada Games Park. 

 

What will the day look like?  

Here are some notable times of the program: 

9:00 AM - Introductions, Official Welcome, Praise & Worship 

10:00 AM to 6:30 PM - Various Sports (Official Schedule with Captains) 

6:30 PM - Awarding Ceremony 

Court Schedule (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Is there a designated space to watch the sports?

Yes! There are seating areas around the courts where spectators can comfortably watch the games. Please note that the indoor track is not designated for spectating—thank you for your understanding!

What do I wear? 

Casual Attire - Wear your Centre’s designated CLC Sportsfest T-Shirt or Colour: 

  • Brampton - Black 

  • Durham - Purple 

  • Guelph - White 

  • Huron - Red 

  • London - Grey 

  • Scarborough - Blue 

  • Toronto - Yellow 

 

Can we set up tents and gather outdoors? Is there a place to eat? 

Yes! There is a covered outdoor area available where you can set up tables and chairs for lunch and fellowship. You're welcome to bring your own lunch or coordinate with others to share a meal. 

Important Notes: 

  • All food and snacks must be peanut-free. 

  • No food will be available for purchase on-site. 

  • Please bring your own tables and chairs. 

 

Are there any activities available for kids?  

There will be  a room set up with consoles for kids to play.

  • Washrooms are available onsite & the facility is fully accessible with barrier-free access.
