Description
Champion Life Centre (CLC) Guelph is a ministry with operational and financial excellence as well as transparent accountability. CLC Guelph has been blessed to experience tremendous growth as a local church. We are looking for a Part-Time Finance and Office Assistant who can support the growth of the local ministry while maintaining operational excellence and financial integrity.
The role involves 15 hours/week and starts off as a 1-year part-time contract with the opportunity for renewal or a permanent role as the Lord continues to bless the church.

      - Passionate about serving God and His church 
- Faithful, diligent, and teachable 
- Able to work at the required pace to meet expected deadlines 
- Experienced in financial and office administration work 
- A faithful steward in their own personal finances 
- A person of integrity 
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting software (preferably SAGE), and database management 
 
- 
      
        
      
      - Perform office reception duties 
- Oversee the church greeting card program 
- Prepare church reports 
- Ensure data quality by managing the church database 
- Process accounts payables and accounts receivables 
- Perform gift entries and manage donor information for charitable tax receipts and stewardship 
- Perform special projects as required 
- Assist the Ministry Engagement Coordinator and Pastors in other duties as assigned

      - Office administration and accounting skills and experience 
- Business correspondence skills — oral and written 
- High adaptability to technology, apps, and other cloud-based collaborative applications/platforms 
- File organization skills
